'He quotes Jesus, Buddha and old Zen masters with stupendous memory, interpreting them with a freshness and directness as if they were speaking today, as if they wore jeans'. Die Zeit --This text refers to an out of print or unavailable edition of this title.

Product Description
This inspiring book grants us profound insights into the truly universal nature of Jesus' original teachings. With compassion and humor, Osho-one of our century's leading mystics-presents us with a series of discourses on the Gospel of Thomas. Each of Jesus' original sayings is the "seed" for a discourse for the modern seeker, encompassing all realms of human experience-philosophy, science, religion, birth, death, love, fear, anger and guilt. Taking Jesus' words out of their narrower Christian context, Osho blends their wisdom with that of other religious traditions. The Mustard Seed will both inspire and sustain us on our own individual paths of inner transformation.

Product Description

Against modern man's anxious uncertainty, against his inner void filled only with confusion, with solitude, with fear, Raphael offers the solid and safe rock of a valid reason for living and shows us that by stopping at one's gross state means losing contact with the Universal Reality, becoming a «living corpse, creating «a society already dead». The concept now expands into the social and political fields.

The solution to all these problems is briefly, though clearly, indicated as consisting in a policy, the only one possible, which is based on an ethical conduct that transcends individuality and is linked to the universal laws. But in order to arrive at this man must seek in himself and unveil the essence of his being.

From the Publisher

Every work of Raphael is precious because it represents an important means, a relevant "channel". In his writings he is offering us what he has experienced and realized in his own life, through them many could be reached by a voice that especially here in the West, may prove of invaluable help.

The first part of the book is presented in dialogue form. Wherever there is a question there is usually a void that needs to be filled, a lack of knowledge to highlight, a doubt to clarify, hence a truth that needs only to be unveiled, because "all is within ourselves" and that truth will be found in the depths of our being. Based on this certainty Raphael often answers one question with another question, and with an ability akin to Socrates' maieutic art, he forces the inquirer to delve into himself until he finds what he was looking for.

Evidently Raphael's question-answers are the same ones he once asked himself and which were the beginning of his own quest. Even now, though all that is past, the echo of the long spiritual struggle which brought him to the oriental doctrines, and to the Advaita Vedanta and the Asparsa-vada, still resounds in the urgency of his pressing statements.

The second part is in sutra (verset) form. In these sutra Raphael expresses himself in the same modality used by the best known commentators of the Vedanta doctrines. While the questions-answers possess a more conversational tone well suited to the dialogue form, in the sutras we find the incisive certainty of the Teacher who, having attained the realizative synthesis of the Unity of Tradition, knows how to direct those who are still far from man's ultimate goal, onto the path towards attaining it. And he points this way with a strength and a vibration of such power as to shake and penetrate the reader almost physically.

Product Description
RAPHAEL offers an introduction to Plato’s thought aimed at ‘realizing’ Plato’s teaching about being a real Philosopher, “one who sees the Whole”. While leaving the task of meditating on Plato’s texts to the readers, he quotes many relevant passages from Plato’s works. PLATO is regarded as the father of Western Philosophy, and is an exponent in the West of the ancient Tradition that goes back to Orpheus.

From the Publisher

PLATO is an exponent in the West of the ancient Tradition that goes back to Orpheus, and he is regarded as the father of Western Philosophy. While over the centuries the concept of philosophy has become an exercise of the empirical mind which can offer only opinions, not Truth, Plato's philosophy (love of learning-wisdom-knowledge) is of an initiatory order. It is a conversion to Being, an initiation into the supreme Good.

Product Description

Dionysus! This name has been on the lips of thousands of people in different places since the earliest of times. And if he is still written about, it means that He is present.

Herodotus tells us that he originated in Egypt. Other writers have suggested Thrace, Lydia or Phrygia; others still indicate Crete where tablets dating back to the XV century B.C. have been found. On them the names of Dionysus and the "Lady of the Labyrinth", Ariadne, are inscribed.

Homer mentions Dionysus too, long before the majority of Greeks came to accept him as the Savior. We should agree that there are certain names behind which a Universal Principle is hidden. Indeed all Traditions, whether from the North, South, East or West speak of deities which, in the end, are equivalent.

And Orpheus? What can be said of this great Sage, Magus, Theologian, Innovator, Rectifier; this Rsi, to use Vedanta terminology?
As it will be attempted to demonstrate in these pages, Orpheus is another bridge-mediator, a great Avatara, who rectified the cult of Dionysus which had been degraded into superstitious practices.

Orpheus unveiled Truths of the intelligible order and, through music, created a science of Rite and of number. He instituted the Lesser and the Greater Mysteries, and left behind him such a profound mark, and vibration that they can still be perceived today. Furthermore, he had a considerable influence on the minds of the philosophers of ancient Greece and, consequently, on all the philosophers who came after him.

From the Publisher

Historians and ethnologists argue and attempt to establish whether this "myth" or that Deity, concern one or another people. In the same way, many historians of philosophy seek to demonstrate that the philosophy of Pythagoras, Parmenides, Plato, Plotinus, etc., is purely personal and original; the development of the author's intuitional mind. They believe that the consideration of Dionysus, Isis, the Indian Mahadeva, or Pythagoras, Plato, etc., in an impersonal or supra-national way, is to make too little of the intuition of the founders of "myths". Often, orthodox historians try to individualize knowledge by setting up altars to the individual creator of "systems", be they religious, philosophical or scientific.

But, if one has the capability to approach what these minds actually said, surmounting individualistic and often merely parochial attitudes, one will be able to tell, without any fear of being mistaken, that the essence, the theme, and the noumenon in every traditional philosophy, religion or science are identical. Obviously, each being, depending on its degree of consciousness and intuitive-contemplative awakening, adorns that essence with wealth and beauty of form, but above all with the power of his own consciousness vibration or irradiation.

Tat Tvam Asi (the Path of Fire according to Asparsa Yoga)

Product Description

"Tat tvam asi" (That thou art) is the most profound message of the Upanisad and constitutes the essence and the synthesis of the Advaita teaching:

«"That, which is infinitely subtle, is the essence of all this [universe].
That is the Reality. That is the Self and That thou art, Svetaketu".
"Please, Venerable Sir, instruct me still further". "So be it, my dear," said he».
(Chandogya Upanisad, VI, XIV, 3)

In this book a relizative dialogue takes place between Antonio, a seeker of the ultimate Truth, and an Asparsin. Antonio has participated in every possible kind of experience without finding fulfilment, or any solution to his problems. In his search through the maze of the samsara duality he meets with Raphael, and, guided by him, Antonio enters into a process of realization which gradually transfigures his restless and dissatisfied ego into higher consciousness.

The Threefold Pathway of Fire

ISBN: 1931406006

Product Description

With The Threefold Pathway of Fire Raphael offers an answer to the authentic sense of quest of many, a path that may lead to the unveiling of our own real and intrinsic nature, which is Completeness-Beatitude. The book is divided into three sections corresponding to the three sadhana (ways) of the Pathway of Fire: Alchemy, Love of Beauty, Traditional Metaphysics.

In the first part, Raphael treats the four means necessary to accomplish the Opus according to the alchemic symbolism. Then, he penetrates the ascesis of the divine Eros as it is embodied in the philosophy of Plato and Plotinus. Finally, he introduces the way of Traditional Metaphysics or "colorless Fire", that which the Advaita Vedanta calls Asparsa (non-support), the way that takes one to cross the abyss between the discursive mind and pure Intellect (Nous).

These three "ways" to realization do not exclude each other but often intersect and integrate in a harmony whose vibrations depend on one's approach to the Opus, on one's energy potential, on one's... Fire.

In the second part of the book, Raphael re-visits the three paths and does it in sutra (verset) form presenting these three ways through a synthesis that radiates his consciential experience.

The Pathway of Fire is not a new teaching nor a syncretism of doctrines, but the universal "Way" to the realization of our own Essence.
