Advaita Vedanta
This is the site maintained by S. Vidyasankar. Based around Shankara, it is a very authoritative site, winner of several awards and cited by the Encyclopaedia Britannica (though it does use a non-standard transliteration scheme for the Sanskrit). There are general descriptions of Advaita with detailed information on many aspects accessible through comprehensive hyperlinked references. There is a biography of Shankara and details of his 'lineage' with scholarly discussion of many related aspects, such as dating his birth and death. The teachings of pre- and post-Shankara philosophers are also discussed in the same rigorous, academic manner. The many schools of philosophy that cite the Upanishads as their source are discussed and their relationships explained. Overall, the site is excellent as a source of reference material and very professionally produced. It is clearly aimed primarily at the serious student. (Note that the site is no longer updated.)

Ahwan - The Spiritual Approach to Life has a large number of articles based on the lectures of Sri Bimal Mohanty expounding the traditional teaching of Vedanta. Subscription requested for access to further articles.

Vedantaquest is the website of Dr. Narendra Tulli, who is seeking to unite science with the teaching of Advaita according to Shankara. There are details of his books on the Srimad Bhagavad Gita and Brahmasutra (with extracts) and of prospective projects. He also gives courses on Introductory and Advanced Vedanta covering the prasthAna traya with the commentaries by Shankara (in English at the Delhi branch of Kailas Ashram).

Reflections is the website of Dr. Haramohan Mishra and contains a number of articles on aspects of Advaita as well as details of his books, including Advaita Epistemology, Sadananda's Vedantasara and commentaries on the Isa and Katha Upanishads.

Gokulmuthu Narayanaswamy has provided 'Introduction to Vedanta' - the series of lectures for beginners by Swami Paramarthananda, based upon Shankara's Tattva Bodha. These consist of some 90MB of files (3 - 4MB per file) in Real Audio (rm) format.

Inner Journey: Spiritual Activities the Easy Way is the website of Dr. N. K. Srinivasan (several essays in the Discourse section). There are some introductions to various topics in advaita, commented extracts from the Bhagavad Gita, instructions on meditation and some book recommendations.

Advaita Enquiry and Educating Disciplines is the website of Ananda Wood. Well constructed and stylishly presented, the site contains a comprehensive resource for the teachings of Sri Atmananda, the tradition of Advaita, discourses on science, language and education, as well as a slideshow and free downloads.

Religion Demystified is the website of Ramesam Vemuri. It contains a significant number of science-related articles, including quantum physics and neuroscience, as well as links to other websites focussing on Advaita and nonduality. Ramesam also writes a science-based blog Beyond Advaita.
